MMRC REGIONAL BUSINESS PARK, Morehead, Kentucky – This regional business park is also funded with LGEDF funds and consists of approximately 520 acres.  The park features a beautiful log home that was converted into a conference center.  MSE has provided all planning and engineering services for this park.  The park plan calls for a service center concept that utilizes existing and proposed structures to offer a range of innovative industrial support facilities including a conference center, temporary offices, day care, recreation facilities and maintenance/storage facilities.  MSE also assisted in the preparation of the funding application for this project.  A 1,000,000-gallon composite elevated water storage tank is the signature feature of the park.  MSE also designed a level pad site of 120,000-sq. ft. for a future building.  MSE worked closely with the Family Dollar team that developed their 1,000,000-sq. ft. Midwest Distribution Center located on approximately 100 acres.  MSE generated several site and cost alternatives to compile the most attractive and viable package to attract the Client.  MSE also worked as site designer for the design/build team.  MSE provided all architecture and engineering services for the Simba Textiles Project.  The Morehead facility is this Australian Company’s first U.S. plant.
