The project consisted of a feasibility study and the planning and design of a 700-acre lake in Lincoln County.  The dam is approximately 2000’ feet long and 90’ high of earthen construction.  The dam also is used to carry a 4-lane highway, US 150, across Cedar Creek.  Principal spillway consists of an 84” RCCP which drains a 22 mile watershed.  The dam is designed as a Class “C” structure.  This project is currently in the land acquisition stage.  Project is being performed for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.
