MSE was responsible for the design of interior improvements to the former Hitachi plant to accommodate the Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems, Inc.’s US manufacturing operations. The Dr. Schneider Group specializes in high-end plastic products used in automobiles – from the innovative ventilation systems to highly integrated interior covers and modules for instrument panels and center consoles that are not only aesthetic but also functional. The global company is an experienced development partner of the automobile industry. The Germany-based automotive supplier is establishing a manufacturing operation in Russell Springs, creating 155 full-time jobs and investing more than $29 million in Kentucky. To meet increasing customer demand, the company is establishing a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary in Russell Springs, where the plant manufactures parts for companies such as Ford, GM, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen.
