Paradise Park is nearing completion of its sewage transportation system that will link the park to the City of Greenville’s treatment facility. The authority has authorized MSE to proceed with the next phase of infrastructure development which involves development of a sewer system within the park property.
SKED has partnered with the Morehead Rowan County Economic Development Corporation to establish its second East Kentucky office. Kentucky native Debbie Cord was hired as the organization’s newest business development specialist in late 2010. Cord works from her office in the Morgan Menifee Rowan County (MMRC) Business Park in Morehead. She provides direct lending services and technical assistance to businesses in an 11-county region.

Rick Stephens and sons Chip and Todd have been working to develop new business opportunities and bring jobs to McCreary County for years. The recent renovation of an existing facility into a new full-service grocery in Whitley City is just one more way the father and son team is getting the job done.
